These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with Been Here Memories. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Our Products
Been Here Memories produces personalised photo, business, promotional and custom-event magnets.
Our standard magnets are 5 × 5 cm and are produced in the quantities offered on our website.
Because our magnets are custom-made to order, the finished product may vary slightly from how colours and images appear on a computer or mobile-device screen.
2. Placing an Order
Orders are submitted through our website order form.
When placing an order, please ensure that your contact details, delivery information, magnet type, quantity and any special instructions are correct.
Submitting an order through the website does not constitute payment or final acceptance of the order. We will review your order and contact you if any additional information is required.
3. Photos, Artwork & Designs
Customers are responsible for supplying photographs, artwork, logos or designs of suitable quality for reproduction.
Magnets are square (5 × 5 cm). Images or designs that are not square may need to be cropped or adjusted to fit the magnet format.
Where possible, we will preserve the important elements of your image or design. However, customers should ensure that important faces, wording, logos or other details are not positioned too close to the edges.
If we believe that an uploaded image or design may not reproduce satisfactorily, we may contact you before proceeding.
4. Permission to Use Images & Artwork
By uploading photographs, logos, artwork or other material, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to use the material and to have it reproduced.
Been Here Memories will use uploaded material only for the purpose of processing and producing your order, unless you have separately given us permission to use it for another purpose.
5. Pricing
Prices displayed on the website apply at the time the order is placed, subject to confirmation of the order.
Special offers and promotional prices are valid only for the period and conditions stated on the website.
Higher-volume or specialised orders may be quoted separately.
6. Payment
Once we have reviewed your order, we will send you an invoice together with payment details.
Your order will proceed to production once payment has been received and confirmed.
Please use the payment reference provided on your invoice where applicable.
7. Production
As our magnets are personalised and made specifically for each customer, production begins after the order and payment have been confirmed and the required artwork or photographs have been received.
We will make reasonable efforts to complete orders within the expected timeframe, but production times may vary depending on order size, artwork requirements and order volumes.
8. Delivery
Orders are delivered within South Africa via PUDO, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with us.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Delivery times are dependent on the delivery service and may be affected by circumstances outside our control. Been Here Memories cannot guarantee a specific delivery date once an order has been handed to the delivery service.
Any applicable delivery charges will be communicated before the order is finalised.
9. Custom-Made Products, Changes & Cancellations
Because our magnets are personalised and produced specifically for you, orders cannot normally be changed or cancelled once production has started.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change to an order. If production has not yet started, we will do our best to accommodate the change.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law.
10. Problems With Your Order
We want you to be happy with your magnets.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the order confirmed with us, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs showing the problem.
We will review the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or other suitable remedy.
Variations resulting from normal screen-to-print colour differences or reasonable cropping required to fit the 5 × 5 cm format are not normally considered defects.
11. Customer Information
Personal information supplied when placing an order is used to communicate with you, process your order, arrange delivery and maintain appropriate business records.
